Stevens Creek Trail

Brief Description

The Stevens Creek Trail is a level, paved two-way pathway which starts in Mountain View and follows Stevens Creek to the salt evaporation ponds at the bay. The trail has many entry points along the route with local parks and schools for children to play. This trail provides an excellent place to begin the ride to Shoreline Park and Baylands. Construction plans are currently underway to expand the trail further south along Stevens Creek.

Location and Map

The Stevens Creek Trail follows the creekbed of Stevens Creek. The trail provides great views of the south bay and provides a chance to view nature local wildlife in our urban setting.

There are several ideal places to start along the Stevens Creek Trail. Whisman Park and School, Creekside Park, and Landels Park and School are all great places to start at the southern end of the trail. Click on the map to the right for starting locations and points of interest.

Things To Consider
  • The trail is open year-round, however, portions of the trail may be closed after heavy rains filling Stevens Creek.
  • Steven's Creek trail is a popular destination for fellow joggers, cyclists, and rollerbladers. Share the trail and right-of-way.
  • The trail can be breezy along the levee area.
